CP12 (Landlord Certificates)
It is a legal requirement that all rented accommodation have a Landlord Certificate issued to them when they are being let and the fine for not doing so can be very substantial, at The Gas Installers we can carry out all your landlord certificate needs including servicing as well if wanted, A Landlord certificate has several distinct stages including the checking of ventilation, gas supply, gas tightness (No gas leaks), burner pressure or gas rate (amount of gas being burned) among other things these are then recorded to give an accurate record of the state of the property as was seen by the visiting engineer.

Boiler Serving
The HSE recommend that all gas appliances are serviced on an annual basis this prolongs their life, increases gas safety and reduces the risk of any accident or injury due to faulty installed gas appliances, during a boiler service the boiler is checked, burner pressures are set and parts are cleaned inline with manufacturers and industry standards, why not book your boiler in for a boiler service over the summer to reduce the risk of breakdown or spot a potential breakdown before the onset of a cold winter.

Annual Boiler Safety Check
This is the modern equivalent of a boiler service, where we use a flue probe and a flue gas analyser to analyser the current combustion performance of your appliance, this can spot incomplete combustion and can tell you if a full service is required. This is comparable to the services that are offered by the larger national companies.

Fault finding and breakdown repair
We are GAS SAFE registered installers and are trained and fluent with all types of central heating and hot water system if you central heating is not working has broken down and you have no heating or hot water you can be confident in calling us and you will know we will do our up most to get you back up and running at your first appointment, we order all spares and most are available next day, with a large quantity of spares carried on board to allow prompt repair, all our engineers have access to the latest and fully calibrated equipment and a laptop computer with manuals, technical references and schematics loaded up so as to be in the best possible position to successfully diagnose and repair your Boiler.

Installing of Cookers and Ranges
You need a new gas cooker or range cooker installed, after having a new kitchen installed well at The Gas Installers we can arrange swift installation of your appliance, including moving the appliance if contacted early enough before a kitchen has been installed, we can run all the supply pipe work to and from the cooker or range as well if it is being moved.
Installation of Gas Hobs
We can fit your new gas hob as a direct replacement or as a new installation, prices vary depending on work involved but we are able to handle the installation in ridged copper pipe work with an inline isolation valve.
The Gas Installers doesn’t actually cut work surfaces for the placement of gas hobs but can replace and/or install them for you.
Gas Pipe Upgrades
We can run your gas supply to your new boiler or old boiler if you have been told you have an undersized gas supply, we can work out your pipe sizing and quote you accordingly to upgrade to a bigger accurately sized gas supply, so as to comply with all current regulations
Emergency Gas leak repair after a Transco or ESP visit
